An extraordinary runway piece from Phoebe Philo’s Winter 2017 collection, these Monkey Printed Silk Pants showcase one of the season’s most distinctive artistic prints.

Crafted from fluid silk twill, the design features an all-over animal illustration rendered in warm sepia and parchment tones. Monkeys appear throughout the fabric, creating the impression of an artist’s study brought directly onto cloth. The painterly quality of the print reflects Phoebe Philo’s continued fascination with art, craftsmanship and visual storytelling.

A particularly remarkable feature of the design is its convertible construction. The pants ae designed in two separate sections that can be joined below the knee through a discreet system of buttons and loops, transforming the piece from full-length pants into shorts.
