Collector’s Note

An especially recognizable piece from Phoebe Philo’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection for Céline, documented in the season’s advertising campaign.

Cut in crisp white linen, the classic button-front shirt is transformed through elaborate openwork embroidery extending across the collar, shoulders and upper body. The almost lace-like negative spaces introduce a decorative, handcrafted quality while the otherwise rigorous shirt construction keeps the piece distinctly Céline. Size FR36
