COLLECTOR´s NOTE

 A defining piece from Phoebe Philo’s final collection for Céline.

Cut in anthracite wool, the jacket reworks classic menswear tailoring through Philo’s language of proportion and construction: an elongated silhouette, strong shoulders and a distinctive back belt that gathers and controls the volume of the jacket. Seen in the Fall 2018 collection and documented in street-style imagery, it belongs to the final chapter of Philo’s decade at Céline.
